Only those who have opted-in via your “Calls-to-Action” will get the announcements and the opportunity to win.

Watch bystanders scurrying to get in on the hunt for Prizes when they see an excited winner.

These opt-in consumers are now available to receive coupons and offers from Event Vendors or specific info about Future Events.

Here are some calls-to-action at the show:

  • Once visitors vote, totals are accumulated electronically in HipChime's Voting/Polling section of its HipChime Marketing Center.

  • At the end of the event/show the winner will be announced and text messages sent to anyone who opted-in and voted.

  • Each day at the show, prizes are given away such as $25 gift certificates for some of the area’s finest restaurants, or tickets to the local Zoo, to the first person who finds “Spongebob Squarepants” at the one of the exhibitor booths located in the Main Hall and texts the winners Keyword found there to 71441, for example.

  • Every few hours other prizes are placed near other event vendor spaces, which when found are awarded to the first person who texts the winners Keyword to 71441.

  • Once a message is sent out that asks visitors to find a certain object located at the show visitors can be seen moving throughout the show attempting to find the object and then win the prize.​

  • These  announcements are made only for those event or show visitors who have opted-in to the (“At The Show) text campaign.

  • Certain restaurants located at the event or show location also offer discount meals at various times.

  • These discount offers are texted to show visitors who have opted in to the text campaign.

 

Mobile is the ideal channel for trade shows and events because it creates a very high level of excitement for show visitors who opt-in.

Post show, event staff will work in conjunction with HipChime to provide participating vendors and manufacturer’s access to the mobile database for remarketing purposes.
